From terrified stray to happy confident dog. Tara came to us in January 2023 , heavily pregnant, after being found straying in Taghmon. It took several days for the dog warden and inspectors to catch her, we luckily got to her just in time as she gave birth, in kennels within a few days of coming into our care. Tara was terrified of any human and very protective her beautiful pups who all found wonderful homes. Over the next 18 months, the team in the kennels have worked with Tara, getting her used to handling and introducing her to new and wonderful experiences. She now loves people, has good recall, and is ready for her new home. She is the princess of the kennels and loves her comforts, a warm bed infront of a fire is her idea of heaven. Sadly she has to make do with her heat lamp here but an indoor home is essential. Tara likes the quite life, so we would like her to go to a home without children or too much hustle and bustle. If you think you can offer this wonderful dog the home she deserves, please contact the WSPCA on WhatsApp 08712 204 16 or email [email protected]
