Just look at this little Face .Toffee was found cowering in the long grass in the Curracloe Area of Wexford on August the 2nd with this very severe eye injury, which was very infected he was also under weight.Every effort was made to save his eye ,but unfortunately it was too far gone and had to be removed. Toffee is now in a foster home with Rachel who is one of our foster Mammys with great experience with this breed and does all the fostering for the Intensive care patients .He was almost complete shut down and showed no interest in anyone not even food ,but when he was introduced to River another rescued dog in Rachel’s care ,he began to wag his tail and show signs of been happy. After a soothing bath the two best friends shared a moment in the garden. River is also a therapy dog ,and visits the nursing homes in the Enniscorthy area on a regular basis. If you can donate in any way to Toffees Road to recovery it would be greatly appreciated, to help please click on PayPal link below.
